This radiator bleed valve is installed in the top of a compatible radiator on one side. You can loosen the valve to release air if it builds up and becomes trapped inside the radiator. When this happens, parts of the radiator will not heat up, so bleeding is an essential maintenance step. You can fit this Brass valve into a compatible radiator and it will complement a shimmering Polished Brass colouring with a deluxe Polished finish. Once installed, the bleed valve can be easily loosened to remedy cold spots that appear on your radiator – it releases air, but be prepared for some drips of water to come out as well.
