This heated towel rail offers lets you choose between a basic central heating-only installation and 2 dual-fuel kits. With the standard dual-fuel kit, the rail includes a 600w electric heating element to warm it when the central heating is off. With the smart thermostatic dual-fuel kit, the 600w does the same job, but can also be adjusted using the controls to get the exact temperature you need. A basic installation is fine for some, but the dual-fuel option means you can warm your towel rail even in the summer months when the central heating is permanently off.
